We aged this wine briefly in new American Oak barrels, enough to give it a “kiss of oak” to yield a harmonious balance of fruit, acid, and velvety mouth-feel. Initial wafts caramelized pineapple, lychees and pear give way to a velvety and lingering mouth feel of citrus and minerality. This is a very enjoyable wine alone and also pairs well with white fish, pork, chicken, butter or cream sauces or soft white cheeses such as Brie. Enjoy!
