JOLO Winery & Vineyards Presents: The Greensboro Opera

David Holley, General and Artistic Director of Greensboro Opera, is putting together professional singers to serenade and entertain you in a fine dining dinner event hosted by JOLO Winery and EndPosts restaurant on Saturday, December 13th from 6:00PM-8:00PM.  The dinner will include a 4-course plated meal with wine pairings and operatic entertainment.

Tickets: $140 per person + tax and gratuity (The total ticket cost will be $177.80). This is a pre-ticketed event. Due to limited seating, these tickets are non-refundable after purchase.
Location: JOLO Winery & Vineyards in the event center.
Time: Dinner will begin promptly at 6:00PM on Saturday, December 13th, 2025 so we suggest arriving about 30 minutes prior.
Ticket info: Upon purchasing your tickets please email your main course choice(s) to carrie@jolovineyards.com.
Seating: Seating for this event will be 'wedding style' with 8 people per table. If you have someone specific that you would like to sit with please email carrie@jolovineyards.com prior to the event. Otherwise, we will place you with other guests who are joining the event.

Menu:

1st Course: Butternut Squash Bisque- walnut and pecan gremolata, sherry wine, Happy Endings marinated raisins
Paired with: Happy Endings 

2nd Course: Mushroom Ravioli- creamy mushroom ragu, parsley chimi churri 
Paired with: Crimson Creek

3rd Course- A choice between: 

  • Tuna Tempura- wok seared green beans, Shiitake mushrooms Basmati, ginger cream, sweet soy, pickled pepper scallion relish
    • Paired with: Golden Hallows Reserve
  • Piedmontese Beef Brasato- wine braised beef ragu with root vegetables, spice and herbs, atop 3 cheese polenta, cipollini onions, roasted carrots, celery
    • Paired with: Devil's Hill

​4th Course: Flourless Chocolate Torte- macerated cherries 
Paired with: Sweet Vermouth

Our Seasonal JOLO Tasting Flight Guests will have the opportunity to sample the finest JOLO wines, carefully selected to reflect the best of each season. Our offerings will change throughout the year, ensuring that every visit allows you to enjoy a diverse array of our award-winning wines.

This exclusive tasting includes 7 exceptional wines for $35 per person + tax.
